Nial Stewart Developments Ltd is an Edinburgh based engineering design company specializing in FPGA design and development, with a background in high speed digital design.

Abelon Systems have worked with Nial Stewart Developments on a number of very successful co-development projects involving hardware and software elements. Our development processes are tightly integrated allowing both teams to function as a single development group, thus reducing timescales and cost.

DSP Design produces extremely robust Single Board Computer boards which are engineered for reliability and are used in some of the harshest environments the world has to offer.

Abelon Systems specify boards from DSP Design in our SBC products where complete reliability and low power consumption are pre-requisites. We have developed our own Linux distribution which is tailored to these boards and which fits comfortably onto a 16MB CompactFlash card. This means that a complete embedded processor solution can be built without any moving parts thus leading to greatly increased reliability.
