Abelon Systems Managing Director Ian Smith said "We have been very pleased with the response to our new industrial automation platform. It has generated a lot of interest and we are very hopeful that it will be a big seller for us."

Director of Business Development Adrian McKie added "This new platform is extremely versatile due to the modular nature of the design. It uses off-the-shelf hardware to keep the cost of the system down and we are targetting it mainly at SMEs who would otherwise be unable to afford to put a full automation system into their plant."

"Although it is mainly designed for commercial installations such as environmental monitoring or process control, it is sufficiently versatile that it could be used in the home or office for monitoring and control purposes."
